When it comes to success, there is one thing that I have learned from coaching over the past five years.  We are our own worst enemy.  We need tools to help us create better habits, change our mindset and build healthy relationships.  Eldon Taylor’s new book, Self-Hypnosis and Subliminal Technology: A How-to Guide for Personal-Empowerment Tools You Can Use Anywhere, is one of those helpful tools that business owners can use to create breakthrough success.
I have talked a lot about doing a morning routine called a “power hour”. Â Part of that morning routine consists of doing mental and spiritual exercises that deal with meditation and prayer. Â The ability to quiet your mind and spend time in quiet reflection is in short supply in our virtually connected age of cell phones and Facebook.
In addition to not having enough quiet time to reflect, we also worry a lot about our businesses. Â When I coach with a client, they typically ask for help with better marketing systems, improved employee management, strategic planning, etc. Â They rarely want to work on limiting beliefs, their Soul Purpose, etc. Â Because of the bastardization of platitudes like “If you believe it, you can achieve it.” and half-assed self improvement techniques like “The Secret”, people believe that self improvement work is fluffy and not essential to success.
Eldon’s book addresses the fact that we have certain issues that hold us back that, until properly addressed, will continue to trip us up at various stages of our lives.  Most of you know that you have certain limiting beliefs or unhealthy behaviors that hinder your success.  The question you may have is how can you best deal with  some of these issues.
Self Hypnosis and Subliminal Technology gives readers a specific set of tools to help you with various issues. Â The tools deal with visualization, self hypnosis, post hypnotic cues which help you transition from hypnosis to assist you in something that you are dealing without outside of hypnosis and subliminal tools.
Within these tools are varying ways which you can alter or use these techniques for specific outcomes such as affirmations, automatic writing or drawing ans subliminal techniques.
At first review, you may find yourself overwhelmed by the number of ways and techniques that you can use in the book. Â My suggestion is take one area that would be most beneficial and start there. Â I have used some of the techniques in this book for years and it definitely takes time and practice to master them.
The book also outlines hypnosis and clears up some common misconceptions about the process. Â It also gives an outline of some of the specific medical uses that hypnosis is used for. Â For example, my wife and I used hypnosis during the birth of our last child.
As I said the beginning, much of our success comes down to us and our ability to work through the limiting beliefs and habits that hold us back from breakthrough success. Â Better business owners means better businesses and a better world.

Thanks so much! Before I go, this just demonstrates just how much
of a holistic, and thereby hugely applicable, hypnosis is.
Are there other books would you recommend for an
active learner researching about covert hypnosis? Here
is 1 item I found.
