We are in a great time right now for creating your business. Why is that you might ask? The answer is this, we are in an unprecedented time in our nations history. We are running into problems that we have never experienced.  Because of this, our country is looking for someone to create and innovate us out of this mess.
With so many problems facing our nation it stands to reason that the innovators and creators of this world will be the ones to deliver us out of this mess. For those of you who thought that it would be Obama or our government, you are crazy. No disrespect to either but our government has been responsible for very little innovation over the years. I would even argue that they try and hinder change when at all possible.
This leaves you the reader with some choices. Do I stand in power and light and look for ways that I can solve the problems that we are facing or do I sit and do nothing and hope someone else fixes the problem. Neither answer is good nor bad. It just may make the difference between you living a full and prosperous life where your talents are maximized or with just continuing to do live in a world where your power and gifts are not utilized to the fullest.
Now on to our homework for today. If you can remember back 3 weeks ago, I first intorduced the concept of solving big problems as the second tool to creating our business platform.

For now, assuming you have a firm handle on your gifts, talents and abilities, start writing out big problems that exist in the world. Start analyzing your talents and how they complement the problems that you are listing. Some will be complimentary and some will not. The purpose if for to start recognizing how your talents can be used and then start building a structure around that. Now is the time.
