Creating An Intentional Culture In Your Business

How can you create the right culture in your businessWhen Herb Kelleher started Southwest Airlines, he wanted to create a culture of fun.  His approach to doing this was very intentional from how they hired to the goofy antics on flights.

Small business owners can take note that, for better or worse, you are the catalyst of your own culture in your business.

Herb Kelleher was all about the people that worked for him as evidenced by this quote:

“If the employees come first, then they’re happy…. A motivated employee treats the customer well. The customer is happy so they keep coming back, which pleases the shareholders. It’s not one of the enduring green mysteries of all time, it is just the way it works.”

This week’s podcast is about how you can create that intentional culture in your own business and I give 3 simple places to start.
