Your Excuses For Not Having A Great Career

“I had a dream once too kid, then you were born.”~ Larry Smith

Having kids is just one of the excuses that people use to not follow their passions and thus settle for a good career but not a great one.

Every once in a while I run across a piece of content that is just so relevant to what I teach and what this blog is about, I absolutely have to share it.

Larry Smith did a TEDx talk in late 2011 where he talked about the excuses that we make for not following our passions.

Not following our passions can lead us to a good career but the whole point of Soul Purpose is to create the value that we were born to create.  This is where we truly impact the world from a higher place on consciousness.

Are you playing it safe, even though no job is bulletproof?  Or are you doing the work you were born to create?

Enjoy the talk and let me know your thoughts.

  1. Wow!

Great video! I teach this everyday, and I agree 100%. We all experience fear of failure, fear of rejection, fear of looking bad… But it’s what we do in the face of that fear that will determine the course, quality, and happiness in our lives.

Who truly lives… the man who experiences successes and failures in pursuit of a worth cause that ignites his passions and fuels his dreams. Or the man who finds stability in safely doing what he knows is well within his reach and never ventures forth?

    Which are you?
